Hey there 👋
I am Ayushi, Based in San Francisco Bay Area.

Education
💬 My journey through design is one that is filled with passion and love for design. I switched careers from being and Engineer to Product designer
-
I studied Interaction design and interactive arts from California State University, East Bay, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in terms of designing for human behavior and technology.
-
My Bachelor's education from CSVTU, India, helped me develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Design often involves tackling complex challenges and finding innovative solutions, a skill set that is honed through rigorous academic training.
-
Developed a strong foundation in design thinking and problem-solving.
Work Experience
I started my career as a software engineer at Accenture in 2018, where I developed a strong foundation in coding and problem-solving. Driven by a passion for creativity and visual storytelling, I transitioned into a full-time visual designer role at HackerEarth. This shift allowed me to blend my technical skills with design, leading to subsequent roles at Exabeam and Tanium, where I specialized in AI-driven tools, cybersecurity products, and physical products. Over the past five years, I've honed my skills in B2B SaaS and cloud solutions, focusing on user-centric design and rapid prototyping.
My values
Call me a curious one who loves story telling through design because I believe it is one very powerful way of putting ideas into this world.
-
I understand that the users are human beings with emotions, desires, and needs, and that the products they design should aim to enhance their lives in some way.
-
I have a strong desire to explore and learn about the world around me. I am always asking questions, seeking new knowledge, and looking for ways to improve my designs.
-
UX design is a collaborative process that involves working with different stakeholders such as developers, product managers, and other designers. I believe i thrive in collaborative environments and always open to feedback and ideas from others.

Meditation and morning routine
I love to start my day with a proper morning routine, that includes breath work, meditation, my hot cup of water, journaling and a shower after that. Pandemic and with everything going in the world, mental health as cliche as it might sound is certainly one important thing in my life. It is as important as my career and family.

I co-founded a non profit e-magazine
“Telloway” is a big part of who i am. I have covered various stories of people who are unsung heroes and are challenging social norms and taboos of the society, learnt social media marketing, editing youtube videos, organizing events and various marketing tactics for the platform. Also mentored various students who are design enthusiasts and wish to learn social media marketing through Telloway’s platform.
